FAQ
How Long are your sessions?
I will spend as long with you as we need to in order to get a great variety of shots. Typically sessions with small children are shorter in duration because they lose interest in being photographed pretty quickly so I will gauge session length on the day depending on this and other factors. As a guide, my sessions generally take 40-50 minutes so I recommend allowing an hour for your session.
This is of course unless you have booked a limited edition session that has a specified duration.
Can I purchase additional Digital Images?
Yes, additional High Resolution Digital files are currently $30ea, 5 for $125 or I have a discounted rate to upgrade your gallery to 25 images for $400, However, I do want to see your memories up on your walls, not just as your profile picture or even worse sitting as a forgotten file in your hard drive, Therefore, I offer complimentary High Resolution Digital Images with my Fine Art Prints, Wall Art, Album and Legacy Box collections.
Do I have to order prints through you if I receive High Resolution Digitals?
Although I highly recommend you do to ensure the best quality, representation of the image and for longevity. No, you do not have to order your prints through me if you have selected high resolution digital files you can print these wherever you wish but I do only guarantee print quality on prints ordered through my store.
I truly believe your memories deserve to be immortalised in Archival Fine Art quality so I offer a variety of beautiful timeless print options for your treasured images and I handle the ordering of your chosen Fine Art printing as part of my service to guarantee quality and perfection.
Need help planning your photo wall? I also offer in-home wall art design with product samples available for you to feel and see in your own home.
What is a proof gallery?
A proof gallery is a collection of lightly culled and lightly edited images from your session.
Because trust me, no one needs to see hundreds of photos of their loved ones blinking and talking.
A proof gallery gives you the final yay or nay on the keepers. Because who knows, a little quirk or inside joke that as a photographer I may write off as a ‘bad shot’, may warm the cockles of your heart.
Similarly, I don’t really want to spend hours artistically hand editing an image that was always going to be a no for you and have my little ole heart broken when you don’t choose it.
So a Proof Gallery is my happy medium. I remove the definite no’s for you but you get the final say. Happy Days!
Are wall art and albums expensive?
Surprisingly, no! I have already done all the hard work for you and found Australian, premium products at an affordable price. I’m happy to provide a full product price list but to give you an idea of price point, a 5 x 7” hand edited, fine art print is $40 and you receive the high resolution digital image as well!
Plus I take care of the ordering etc for you so it’s super easy and stress free.
I cant see the print product I'd like available in your store?
Don't panic, because there are so many options I have only included the most popular. If you are after an acrylic print, a different size or something else you don't see available, send me a message, chances are I can supply what you are looking for!
Do you offer wardrobe styling?
Yes! I provide a family styling guide and free consultation upon booking. I would love to refer maternity clients to my client closet for maternity dresses as well suggestions of where to buy your own dream dress. I also have an arrangement with Queen Status, a designer dress hire boutique that entitles my clients to a very generous discount. Feel free to ask me about it!
